Amal English School, one of the most progressive and prestigious institutions in Kerala was established in the year 1992, at Chammanur, Punnayurkulam, Thrissur District with a view to impart excellent modern education in a serene atmosphere for the students from all parts of society. The school has obtained A grade affiliation from Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi with affiliation No: 930203 (Visit www.cbse.nic.in for knowing affiliation details) as a Senior Secondary School.
Amal Eglish School, P.O. Chammanur, Punnayurkulam, Thrissur District was started with kindergarden classes in the year 1992. The school is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi. It aims at the all round development of pupils socially, physically and morally by offering secular education. It imparts instruction in a calm and peaceful atmosphere. The school is open to all castes and creeds and it functions purely on charitable basis. The three language formula is followed. English, Hindi, Malayalam or Arabic will be followed upto Std VIII. As far as possible we follow the text books prescribed by the National Council of Education Research and Training (NCERT). Besides we provide a series of co-curricular education in sports and games arts and crafts, drawing and painting, computer education etc. The school session is from 1st June to 31st March. We have co-education providing effective moral instruction and spiritual lessons based on human and social values. The school prepares pupils for All India Secondary School Examination (AISSE) and Senior School Certificate Examination conducted by CBSE Delhi. We have continuous and comprehensive assessment for all classes.
The school is situated at Chammanur nearly 8kms away from Kunnamkulam and 2kms nearer to Attupuram on Kunnamkulam Althara road (via) Cheruvathani.
