General Rules
- The school diary has to be brought to the school every day.
- Students should report at the school by 8.55 a.m. at the latest.
- A student who comes late to the school will lose his attendance. The parent will be intimated about the same. If the student is not found keeping time even after being served with two warning notes, he/she will be sent back home at the risk of the parent.
- Student's should come to school in the prescribed uniform on all school working days and open days and to be smartly groomed. If a student is repeatedly found to come shabbily dressed then the child might be sent back home.
- Boys’ hair style must be simple and neatly combed. No fancy haircuts are permitted.
- Low waist pants and skin fit dresses are strictly prohibited. Shirts should be long enough for inserting and buttoned up and tucked in neatly at all times.
- Students should be decent, courteous and polite at all times whether they are in the class or in the school premises.
- Pupils should behave in a courteous and gentle manner on all occasions. They should address their teachers and all members of the staff with due respect and politeness. Good behaviour and gentle ways are prerequisites of every student. They should always remember that the school is judged by their conduct.
- Scribbling on desks/ windows / walls / chairs etc. is prohibited and liable to fine.
- Repeated absence of a child without leave for more than 15 consecutive days renders him/her liable to have name struck off from the roll.
- Students moving in the corridor, up and down the stairs must walk in silence and keep left. No pupil should leave the school premises without the permission of the Principal.
- No money collection for any purpose shall be made and no meeting or party shall be held in the school premises without the permission of the Principal.

The school will not, under any circumstances, tolerate in any form the following acts of students indiscipline. Violators risk immediate suspension/dismissal.
- Physical violence or any type of ragging in the school premises.
- Willful disrespect or threat to teachers. - Consumption of psycho-tropic drugs or tobacco in the school or outside.
- Use of foul language or gestures.
- Sending obscene or threatening or defaming mails/messages or posting such mails/messages in any electronic domain directed at any individual connected with the school.
- All the students are expected to attend classes on the opening day after each of the vacation and the closing day before the vacation.
- Students should avoid littering in the school premises and use the bins provided for the purpose.
- Students are expected to take part in games, other outdoor activities, competitions and co- curricular activities organized by the school from time to time.
- Wearing of gold/precious metal in school premises is forbidden. Rs. 500/- will be collected as fine in case of violation.
- Attendance is compulsory for all tests and examinations held during the year. There will be no test conducted on a later date if a student misses the same.
- Students must communicate in English at all times except during language classes when they are expected to use the language being taught, to enhance English ambience in the school. Continuous disregard for this rule will justify suspension from school or imposition or fine.
- Students are not allowed to drive motorbikes/vehicles in and around the campus even on holidays. The violation of which will be reported to police as per the rule.
- Electronic devices/digital cameras/ mobile phones are not permitted inside the school campus. If confiscated they will have to pay a fine of Rs.2000/- and the gadget will be returned only at the end of the Academic year.
- No student will be allowed to leave the school campus during school hours except on the strength of a written request from parent and due authorization by the Principal.
- Promotion to the next class is based on the overall performance of the student in various scholastic and co-scholastic areas. Tests and assignments will take place as delineated in the CCE manuals published by the CBSE.
- A separate minimum of 33% in all subjects in Std IX and XI (both theory and practical) is compulsory for promotion.
- Students with severe shortage of attendance will not be promoted even if they obtain pass mark in all subjects.
Note to Parents
- Parents should ensure that children bring the school diary to school every day. Parents should check diaries regularly and note the teacher’s remarks etc. and acknowledge the same promptly by putting their signatures against the remarks.
- Parents should use the ‘Leave Record’ page in order to avail leave for their wards. Leave should be taken only in case of emergency. In case of sickness, medical certificate should be produced.
- Monitor your ward’s progress and feel free to meet the concerned teacher by taking prior appointment.
- Parents are specially requested to inform the school of any change in their address or telephone number.
- Parents who want to take their wards home during working hours (in case of emergency) should come in person and get the permission from the Principal.
- No pupil will be sent home with another person, without an authorization letter from the parent.
- Parents are requested not to send their wards to school in case they are suffering from contagious or infectious diseases.
- Outings, tours, visits to relatives etc with their wards on working days should be avoided.
- Parents should see that their wards do not remain absent in any test/exam and also on the reopening day and closing day of the school. Project work in every subject is a part of the syllabus/curriculum from Std I to Std X. Parents are advised to ensure that the students take these assignments seriously and submit them for evaluation on the specified dates given by concerned teacher.
- Parents should ensure that they spend sufficient time with their wards daily to ensure a good level of understanding.
